Medicine Hat Mavericks vs Lethbridge Bulls | 4 – 5
In a matchup between two teams who seem to be destined to play each other in the first round of playoffs, the Lethbridge Bulls downed the Medicine Hat Mavericks 5-4, bringing their record up to 28-23. Despite the loss, Medicine Hat still leads the Bulls in the West Division standings with a record of 27-22 due to winning percentage, despite the Bulls having more wins.
Logan Bexten was the starter for the Bulls, tossing seven strong innings, striking out one, allowing three earned runs, before Tevin Hall came in relief to toss the eighth inning, where he allowed an earned run, despite not allowing a hit. Evan O’Toole, the Bulls closer shut things down in the ninth, striking out the side to complete the victory.
Brett Mercier and Riley Jepson each crushed homers for Lethbridge as Mercier finished the ballgame 1-2 with two walks and two RBI’s, with Jepson finishing 2-4 with an RBI.

Brooks Bombers vs Okotoks Dawgs | 13 – 8
The Brooks Bombers, who sit in last place in the West Division upset the first place Okotoks Dawgs by a score of 13-8 yesterday, bringing their record to 16-32.
The story of the game was Bombers starting pitcher, Nick Garcia who stuck out 12 Dawgs batters through 6 2/3 innings. After being ruffed up in the seventh inning, despite a great performance, Riley Glenn took things over, completing the final 2 1/3 of the ballgame, striking out four and allowing just two hits against.
Bombers third baseman, Albert Vargas hit his fourth homer of the season, finishing the ballgame 3-5 with a double and five RBI’s to his credit.

Edmonton Prospects vs Fort McMurray Giants | 5 – 4
In a game with major playoff implications as both teams battle it out for the final playoff position, Edmonton downed the Fort McMurray Giants 5-4, scoring two runs in the final two innings to take the ballgame.
Trever Berg started for the Prospects, tossing 5 2/3 innings, before Scott Gillespie came in relief, throwing one inning, not allowing a hit. Matthew Erikson and David Wylie completed the final two innings to complete the victory, with Erikson earning the “win” and Wylie taking the save.
Javier Ramirez had a terrific day at the plate, going 2-4 with two doubles and three RBI’s, bringing his batting average up to .305 for the season.

Regina Red Sox vs Weyburn Beavers | 9 – 3
The Regina Red Sox keep on rolling, taking down the Weyburn Beavers 9-3, giving them eight wins in their last 10 games played as they hold a record of 34-14 for the season and lead the East Division by two games.
Six different pitchers appeared in the ballgame for Regina as it seemed to be a bullpen day, with Fernando Burgos starting things off, tossing four innings, before Michael Batten, Mark Lopez, Baylor Gianinni, Heibert Romero, and Jackson Cofer all tossed one inning to complete the victory.
Red Sox outfielder, Ryan Eastburn had two homers on the night as he finished the ballgame 3-5 with three RBI’s and two runs scored.

Yorkton Cardinals vs Moose Jaw Miller Express (GAME ONE) | 8 – 9
In game one of the days double-header, the Moose Jaw Miller Express took down the Yorkton Cardinals 9-8 in extra innings.
It was a rough start for Miller Express starter, Tyler Sheridan as he only got through 2 2/3 innings, allowing three earned runs, before Nico Portillo took things over, throwing the next 4 2/3 innings. Jack Gamba finished things off for Moose Jaw, entering the ballgame in the eighth inning, strikeout out two and allowing only two hits through 2 2/3 innings.
Miller Express catcher, Cole Warken finished 3-5 at the plate with and RBI and a run scored.

Yorkton Cardinals vs Moose Jaw Miller Express (GAME TWO) | 2 – 11
In game two of the double-header, the Moose Jaw Miller Express downed the Yorkton Cardinals, bringing their record up to 25-24 for the season as the Cardinals fall to 5-44.
Alex Orenczuk was the starter for the Miller Express, tossing the firs three innings of the ballgame, before Cole Warken came in to pitch the next three innings, striking out four. Darrell Doll closed things out, pitching the final inning in the seven inning contest.
Geordie McDougall and Reece Helland each crushed homers for Moose Jaw as McDougall finished 1-3 with a walk and two RBI’s, with Helland finishing 1-1 with two walks and three RBI’s.
