Dawgs Take Game One Over Red Sox

The Okotoks Dawgs took game one of the Western Canadian Baseball League Finals 7-2 over the Regina Red Sox and now only sit one win away from winning the Championship.

Nolan Ruff got the start for the Dawgs and was dominant his whole outing, tossing a complete game, striking out five and only allowing seven hits and two earned runs.

Dawgs outfielder and WCBL MVP finalist, Tristan Peters had three hits in the ballgame, driving in an RBI, while his teammate, designated hitter, William Hollis drove in two RBI’s, finishing 2-4 with a double.

Game two is set to be played in Okotoks on Friday at 7:05PM as the Dawgs look to clinch the Championship.
